YOUTH

The most successful youth program in Southern Michigan — building fundamentals, confidence, and a love of the game for grades 4 through 6.

The Michigan Premier youth program is the most successful youth program in Southern Michigan. We take great pride in the development of our players. The program is designed specifically to empower young women to thrive beyond the court by developing strength of character, leadership skills, strong work ethic, and self-confidence through the love of basketball and athletic excellence.

Our priority is to optimize individual player and overall team performance through hands-on leadership focusing on individual fundamental skill training/development, game situations, and team dynamics/unity. We coach our players to compete at their highest level of ability. Coaches mentor athletes while instilling life skills such as teamwork, leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, work ethic, and sportsmanship — equipping them to be highly successful adults and the leaders of tomorrow.

SELECT TEAMS

Elite level, playing a full season November-May (10-12 tournaments) with 2 additional NCAA certified summer tournaments. Schedule is limited during the school season (January/February) to follow MHSAA rules.

SEASON

New for the 2026 season: Player development is our #1 priority. Skill development only happens through consistent hours in the gym. To support and simplify this process, the entire Michigan Premier program will run year-round (September 2026-August 2027).

The youth tournament season runs Nov-April. The off-tournament months (Sept-Oct and June-Aug), will now include 2 Sunday Skill Trainings per month (total of 10). These training days are included in the season's monthly fee and will only include Premier athletes. Training will consist of individual skill development through competitive drill work and be conducted by our club's professional trainers.

REGIONAL TEAMS

Developmental level, playing a full season November-April (10-12 tournaments). Schedule is limited during the school season (January/February) to follow MHSAA rules. All regional team tournaments are local or always within a two hour radius.

COACHES & TEAMS

2026 Team Coaches

Michigan Premier coaches are passionate and committed to girls' basketball. Coach development matters as much as player development — every coach has the opportunity to be USA Basketball certified and attend the BCAM Coach's Clinic, Michigan's most reputable coaching clinic. Most of our coaches have played collegiately and bring high school coaching experience.
